AMD Mantle: A Graphics API Tested In Depth (TH)

So basically give this review a wide birth as Kaap has just demonstrated. Knowing Toms being Toms they might of even got the presets mixed up lol. Drivers are quite old too. In fact that version was the worst in a lot of things.
 
Looks complete crap to me, i've posted a few times what sort of fps i get normally,

100fps avg mark using DX11, using mantle it's around 120fps.

That's with my 4770K @4.6.

Mantle makes a big difference even on high end systems.

What map/s do you get 120 Avg out of curiosity bud? They are some good frames for a single card.

This was testing the Naval Strike maps.
had a issue with one server and spikes but the rest were fine.
It's the same story with most of the other maps, hardest for me seem to be Zav and Para but fps is still over 100 avg on those too, i guess it helps that i'm running a pretty good overclock on my card too mind.

Don't you play sniper though?

They are good frame rates but it's quite easy to get 120 if you are sniping I'd say. Not tested it myself mind as I am bloody awful at sniping :D

Nice frames. I will have a look at my single card frames tomorrow and see how that fairs. I am sure I will be no where near it though, as I think I only get 150 average with SLI Titans at stock.

Fine tuned to the point those numbers look higher than my old three way Ti results :D

:D In all seriousness though it's the truth, i've no reason or inclination to lie about them.

Those are the Average fps that i get using my system, @1080p ultra settings.

Let's see how your Titan SLI and Titan Black Tri SLI results compare to a couple of cheap 290P blowers boys. :D :p

Aside from one dirty spike at the start, i do belive in terms of frame variance/consistency this is as close to perfect as you can get without using vsync or an fps limit. #TheMantleEffect
