AMD Matt when can 290(x) + users expect an upgrade?

Would you lose your job if you spoke about upcoming official announcements?
In a similar situation to a few other people here, got a 390 and 1440p/144hz freesync monitor, need to upgrade tho. Might put in another 390 in the meantime

It's true, unfortunately. I hope AMD hurries up.
If nvidia supported freesync I would have probably bought a 1080, can't see it happening so I can't see myself buying nvidia

If Vega isn't forthcoming I'll probably just pick up a 1080ti Freesync or no Freesync. Right after I speak to the mortgage company about taking out a second mortgage.
Might just about stretch to the deposit on a 1080ti.

As this is what crossfire and SLI was intended for I would be inclined to look at this option (assuming motherboard can support this).
It seems for 1080p its still a comfortable setup, I guess if games start using the API's properly is there any call for it to be a must rather than a want?
