I have a 175 and a similar rig to your I can get upto 2.7ghz on air but run at 2.6 for stability I paied bout £145 for my opty but then it went out of stock and the prices rose to about £185 but as I ordered one at the lower price they honoured it.

Might be selling soon though for a C2D rig

The 185 was from the states so i went for a 170 for £130. The stepping on the chip is CCBBE 0615DPMW. Suppose to be able to get these upto 3ghz+!! Heres hoping.........

My 170 is CCBBE 0615EPMW and it does 3GHz

My opty 165 should be with me tomorrow, cost me £75, so by the time I've flogged my 146 I recon my upgrade will have cost me about £35-40. Not bad I recon, I'd love a C2D rig, but cant justify the whole new mobo, chip and mem costs, so I jumped at the 165 when i saw it.
