ive been looking to upgrade my PC. Im in 2 minds where to stick with AMd or go with Intel. At the mo ive got a AMD x2 and i was looking at the new Intel chips cause they seem to be a lot better than the new AMDs.
Has anyone had any experience with either of these chips and what do you think is worth gettin?

im gonna be changin the m/bo as well cause it doesnt support DDR3. but i just want something that is good for gaming and good for video stuff

i currently have a AMD x2 5200, Foxcon AM2 board, 4GB DDR2 and an 8600GT this all needs upgrading. im gonna be getting pretty much whole new setup. Looking to get ATI 4850 and a new board that can run DDR2 and 3 but im not sure what CPU to get cause Ive read that the AMDs are pap and that im best off gettin an Intel but they cost so much. I dont really want to spend more than £200 on a board and CPU.

My mate has 1 that does but its for a Intel board

so the best option is to wait till after xmas when the i5s are kicking and then see whats what between the AMD and the Intel

yeah but my AM2 is only worth like £20 now so i was just gonna sell my old cpu, mbo, gfx all together to someone for about £70 and then they just need a case or just put it in theirs
