I'm a little confused with this feature on the black edition CPUs. It allows for easier control over your clocking for the CPU and memory, but I'm only interested in the memory atm.
It allows you to set the memory timings higher than what the BIOS would detect them at or at least get them closer, if not better, to what they are programmed at.
Using BEMP to get your memory clocked to 1600 with 7-20 timings, is this effectively overclocking your CPU somewhat meaning you need a CPU cooler, or is it just overclocking the memory using this new software and not clocking the CPU at all?
