AMD Overdrive

Hello Its great to be able to use AMD Overdrive ^^. But it locks the system up when i apply a new setting. Does any one know what the problem could be?

Is it just not overclocked too far? I've never used these sort of tools I've always done it through the BIOS but if the system locks up it's a sign you've overdone it.

no no, it does it even when its on stock settings. i tried to overclock it when i first got my new mobo and it locked straight off. i have it overclocked in bios but its easier if i can get acces to aod.

"amd overdrive locks up" I googled that and there seems to be quite a few issues on the subject.

AMD forums suggest try different versions out, as well as all the latest drivers....

Possibly run as admin if you are a Windows Vista / 7 user? Can't be of much help as I don't own an AMD system, sorry.

atm im doing a full reinstall of not windows 64 bit, but 32 bit. means every old driver is completley gone jst incase it was conflicting with ati tool bsod, and crashing in aod. Also msn didnt work on 64 bit so in total its a good bonus. I will report on how it went.
