AMD/PCGamer E3 2015 thread

How many of these cards are actually going to be rebrands? Seem to hear that rumour now and again but surely they wouldn't commit to cold silence and losing market share just to put on a big show about a bunch of rebrands. I know they'll have some possibly but anyone got a real idea how many?
Just wait and see would be my opinion.

Not long to go now...and if there are cards that are straight rebrand (with only clock bumps with not architecture improvement such as improving efficiency or features) at the higher price point, then people won't buy them it's that simple.

For all the complaints AMD must be doing something right as it has got a lot of people talking. I suspect they have been studying the Green Team's play book. Who, in my mind are much better at marketing than AMD. Can't wait to see what is revealed even though I'm not in a position to buy anything.

The only thing they need to announce is that they will be doubling the size of the driver team.

So there will be two of them.

Paul and Barry do the drivers now so to double would be 4. They are that busy that they don't have the time to do Chuckle Vision any more.

Nice to know the PC will be getting some attention at this year's E3. I probably won't be able to watch it live as 2:00am is a bit late, but hopefully they manage to put together a good show with plenty of news.

It would be good to see AMD get back into the gaming scene and much welcomed. They did a sterling job with Tomb Raider (I am still fuming with Square/Enix for giving the XBONE a timed exclusive on the new TR). I always liked their Gaming Evolved giveaways and had some good games in them. The Dirt series was pretty good as well.

xfire drivers + decent linux drivers....

I might be wrong..but from the rumours that the new cards are just part of the show at E3....and the thing AMD is so quiet about drivers in the last quarter for me it feels they might rewriting the whole catalyst driver suite. Honestly it is time for a refresh.

Hold on! Looking through the list of developers in the OP, where's Bethesda? What will be of Fallout 4?!? And Doom (which I don't really care for), and most of all... Dishonoured 2! *Fingers crossed*
This is the most excited I've ever been for an E3. Probably has a lot to do with PC finally having a conference and the release of new AMD cards (I've held back on buying a GC for my build, got all the other parts and just waiting to buy that). I hope AMD releases immediately and the price wars start or AMD have nothing good to offer in the £200-350 range, then I'd just quickly order a 970. They've kept us waiting too long for the R9 3xx series!
