Right guys seen as I'll be getting an i5 2500k I am gonna see how far I can push this chip at the 1.55v max safe voltage on air. Atm I'm at 4.2ghz, will it go any further or is this around the max?
 
I can get mine to sit at 4300+ with 1.52+v for benchmarks (3Dmark11,heaven etc) but that about it.... whats the point really?

Crysis2, my 955BE bsod @ 4.2 but BF3 will play without a worry.

If i was you i'd be happy with 4.2. I'd also get those volts down below 1.55 if i could.

What's wrong with ya PII. Why change?
 
^^ Yeah i hear you on that.

I wouldnt mind trying 2500K but might wait for ivy-B in april.

Ive been told many times on these forums that these is no point changing to intel as i wouldnt see much difference in games.

(I still wouldnt like my PII @ 1.55 )
