AMD Pricedrops!

AMD had to move to DD2 but the problem was the timing, they should have done it sooner before Intel had the new chip out & then they would not of lost so many so quickly as the AMD was still the fastest before the Intel chip turned up.

people buying a new setup would have bought AMD & less would have felt like moving or have the means to move from a just made AM2 rig soon followed by new Intel setup up a few months later.
 
Oh how the world would be easier if both companies used the same socket, and all motherboards supported all kinds of graphics cards combinations.

Its not so unreasonable?

If we consumers could somehow unite then they would have to make the stuff *we* wanted :D

I believe the open platform for graphics card is close, its just daft you can't run either a SLI or CROSSFIRE setup on the same mobo, somethings gotta give soon.
