** AMD R9 NANO NOW IN STOCK & AVAILABLE!! **

Awesome little card.

Terrible price.

Realistically, this should be £380-400 ish to be considered IMO, especially considering it has only 4GB of VRAM.

Whilst others might be of a different opinion, I would never pay that price for a card that will be obsolete (VRAM wise, for 4k) in only a year or so.

Do people need PCs that small or is it just cos it looks cool? I'm guessing the idea of having a nifty wee comp is nice but just as a novelty thing... it doesn't make sense for practicality.

PC components naturally get smaller each year.

All those large PC cases today pretty much only have one use - watercooling.

ATX motherboards - who actually needs those? Probably only 0.1% of ATX motherboard owners actually use every expansion and storage slot.

99% could suffice with a Micro-ATX motherboard or even mini-ITX. The 1% of users who use multi-GPU's or 10 SSD's/HDD's are the only users who actually need a ATX motherboard. Even then, a NAS would be far more efficient way to house 10+ drives instead of a desktop PC case.

I honestly don't see a time where i would want to go smaller. For me buying PC components has always been about getting the best and biggest components i can afford.

I see the appeal for smaller setups and low noise setups but for me i will always have a huge tower that the wife absolutely detests :D

Lol :D . Midi towers for me. It's enough.

I will need to build a small PC for my sons bedroom at some point but I am not sure I actually require something small enough where I will HAVE to choose a tiny graphics card.

Specced up two PC's, one with Nano and one with a 970, price difference about £250, given I am spending roughly £1500 its not that huge when taken in that context. Nano build also had a better screen due to GSync premium.

(Clutching at straws trying to justify a Nano build)

With 1500 to spend you may as well go for the faster card and you'll still have change left over. Plus I'd like to see a photo of the finished nano pc...

Sounds like you have pretty much made your mind up. Btw I wouldn't pay too much attention to the naysayers who will undoubtedly be here soon to recommend a 970 blah de blah. Just get what you want to get if you can afford it.

If you get the right case you can fit any graphics card, and that will also give you more options in thy future, even if you get the nano now I would still recommend a case like the SG13 that leaves your options open
