AMD Radeon Fury X & Vulkan??????

Nope, in 1440P also. I've seen my 1070 get upto 4.7GB VRAM in Doom, maxed out.

1440p here 4GB only two games so far have used more than 4GB for me and that's Tombraider and Gta5 rest has been around 3.5

Doom on ultra @1440p only uses 3.1Gb for me that is without nightmare mind you.

You can force nightmare settings on a Fury and it runs just fine. At least I know it does at 1440p.

Literally zero difference anyway, just some random shadow detail that virtually unnoticeable. Just a setting that sucks up a lot of vram for zero difference.

Looks like that latest/recent patch makes a liar of my last post - can now run it fine on my 780 albeit a bit of load stutter now and again and around 15% framerate drop from ultra. On the release version of the game it was killing any GPU that didn't have 5+GB VRAM completely.

Bus interface load goes from like 5-6% with ultra to 52% with Nightmare lol.

Doom3 had a setting for ultra detail that used a whopping 512mb of ram. That ran fine on my 256mb card as well but yeah very little difference. It's more of a gimmik tbh.

Released games currently supporting DX12

Heroes & Generals -First MMO game to use DirectX 12 as default. However the DX12 Renderer was removed within a few days of releasing it due to bugs. Reto stated they would release it at a later date.

Rust - Support as of 11 July 2016. Game breaking on some systems, GTX 1070 experiences severe frame rate drops, from around 80 to 35 at identical settings.

Squad - DirectX 12 patch coming some time after UE4 supports it (April+).

Survarium - DirectX 12 patch is being released at an unknown date.

The Elder Scrolls Online - DirectX 12 patch is in the works

ROTTR - Patch 1.0.638.6 added full DirectX 12 support

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex - Currently in beta.

Total War: Warhammer - Beta support for DX12 has released.

Pmsl :D:D:D

Prefer to see games being developed including dx12 instead of this patching it in caper that seems to lead to issues with performance, i remember some games had dx11 patched in and it caused problems.
