AMD RYZEN 9950X3D / 9900X3D IN STOCK & AVAILABLE FROM 13:00 TOMORROW !!

We are cheapest and it is single digit margins, so who exactly is scalping ?

Fortunately, the demand for them doesn't seem to be there, as they didn't sell out right away.

A £700 CPU is pretty niche considering you can get similar gaming performance for under £500.

We have several hundred and have already sold nearly 300, trust me 300 of a £700 CPU in 30 minutes is insane levels of demand, if we could sustain such sales that would be epic.

So the demand is very much there, we just have plenty, they will no doubt be sold out soon though, good news is people are getting a good chance to grab one. :)

It's not an insane level of demand at all in the current climate, from your posts yesterday it sounded like they were going to be hard to get.

We know tomorrow demand will far outweigh initial supply of these chips, so you will need to be quick to secure one

Doesn't really add up with being able to log on 40 mins after launch and still buy one with ease. 9900x3D seems pointless as well wedged between the 9800x3D and the 9950x3D, sales on that look way worse.

CPU's are readily available in current climate, every AMD and Intel CPU is in stock and available, as such most CPU's can be purchased easily.

9950X3D seems quite limited availability with not many resellers with stock, so yeah it is pretty hard to get if there is only a handful of resellers with stock, its not in stock everywhere and rainforest does not even list it.

Which was exactly my point, that we're lucky that the CPU market is not like the GPU market.

The rainforest rarely has CPU or GPU listings at launch (at least ones that are sold by Amazon themselves), and they are still freely available from your main competitor. Availability is there when you can still easily buy one 45 minutes after launch.

I consider availability when it is in stock around the clock from multiple sources (not just 2-3), which unfortunately the 9950X3D won't be, we are down to less than 100 left now and I suspect other sources will be sold out today. :)

We shall be listing as pre-order once sold out to deter any scalping. The launch is also 1hr earlier before many expected it to be, which could be why its lasting longer than expected.

Availability is simply not having to fight for one at launch, anyone who wanted one of these could have easily bought one by now and even if they're on the fence, it's not like they're going to be out of stock for weeks on end.

Take the 9800x3D for example, even if you had the same stock of those at launch as you do of these, they'd still have been gone within minutes. Sales look solid but not at the level even you were expecting considering you said "We know tomorrow demand will far outweigh initial supply of these chips, so you will need to be quick to secure one".

The 2pm crowd is buying them up now, hardly any left.

Considering there were less than 100 left 20 minutes ago, you'd think they'd have all gone bang on 2pm if a lot of people thought they were going to launch then.

They are now sold out, seems the case everywhere, glad our site was spot on and lots of people got one. :)
Another epic launch.

Aiming to get them all shipped today fingers crossed. :)

Product shall be available on pre-order shortly for anyone who missed out. :)

Not really, you could have taken a nap for an hour when they launched and still got up and bought one. Though I imagine at your age you'd need considerably more than an hour ;)
This is true! Luckily my 9800x3d will be good enough for a long long time yet. :D
