AMD RYZEN 9950X3D / 9900X3D IN STOCK

Looks like I'm not getting it today ;_; Anyone knows why DPD failed to deliver?

Edit: Talked with DPD, just a capacity issue on their end, wish they would have said so directly. Was afraid that OCUK didn't allow shipping to a pickup shop. Should come in tomrorow!

when I bought my i9 7940x and then I got a i9 10940x I can deffo remember it cost me well over a grand, so this CPU should eat up a 10940x in gaming, yet this CPU is £699 which is a bargain for what it is right?

I remember wanting to buy the 7950X3D last year but wanted to wait on Intel, its just I need to find a motherboard that will hold a 4 slot 5090 and still be left with 2 pcie slots for future use.

I wonder how much faster it will be vs a i9 10940x
 

iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler​


Does anyone know if an older Corsair H170i Elite CPU cooler will be compatible with a 9950X3D?

The cooler is around 2 to 2.5 years old

Or if anyone is using a Elite Capelix cooler to coola 9950X3D

the box states its got a X1 AM4 bracket, will this fit this CPU?

No surprise non of the 3 offers I put in have had any response, they are probably looking on OCuk website to see if im telling the truth about the stock level, regardless, they are either going to end up having to use them themselves or sell at a loss, guess they didnt read the news before the release which AMD stated there wouldnt be a shortage this time around.

It's a great product but it's not in anywhere near the demand as GPUs, be good to see scalpers get burnt.

I was suprised it even sold out yesterday, it did, but it's straight back in stock.
 
so someone who owns a CPU cooler that covers AM4, this cooler will not work with this CPU AM5 ??

Am4 and Am5 sockets have different mounting hole patterns

ppl who bought this CPU will older CPU cooler did u have to buy a new CPU cooler?

The stock mounting is the same between AM4 and AM5, if you have to remove the 4 screws and 2 plastic brackets then things can differ slightly between coolers, AMD put quite a chunky heat spreader on AM5 CPUs to make most AM4 coolers compatible, if your cooler doesnt fit, have a look at the coolers website, theres a chance they'll have a conversion kit.
