AMD Setup Breaks 10K 3Dmark06 with GTS!

Hi guys been dying to break the 10K 3Dmark06 with my BFG GTS 640mb so i did! :D

AMD setup for Bench mark
GTS @662mhz core, 922mhz vram (1844mhz)
CPU @282x11 on stock vcore
Ram @[email protected]

3Dmark06 = 10225 :p
SM2.0 4752
HDR/SM3.0 4682
CPU 2332

Not bad score :D and ppl say AMD is bottleneck!

Before we get ppl saying it is, well so is Intel then because without X6800 the E6300/6400/6600 needs a OC to 3+ghz to take advantage of 8800 series.

Not with a GTS it wont.

With GTX and [email protected] or more ghz yeh.

any ways the point is a lot of ppl said amd was bottle neck at stock i agree but so is Intel core2duo.

any ways if i had the cash i would get a sexy core2 setup :D.

Any amd x2 cpu OCd past 2.6 or so ghz is going to perform quite well....Conroes are indeed amazing but that doesn't mean everything else is suddenly junk or a bottleneck.

I'm planning on getting a GTS 640mb before I upgrade my platform as well. :)

its on Ninja with 120mm fan

volts ate 1.35 but cpuz says little higher but coretemp and others say 1.35

I didnt change vocre for the benchi which i added 100mhz more.

back to 3ghz
 
Wow very nice your only 400 points off of my score with the system inmy sig. the cpu was at 3.4, but the graphics was a lot slower with only 630 on the core.
Wasn't expecting such a small difference in core speed to make that much of a difference.

Nice score, hmm food for thought now...might pick myself up new mobo in near future along with new gfx card & finally make the leap from AGP to PCi/SLi as temp fix should any new games run poor on my old build this year. :)
