AMD Shares Update On Frame Latency - 13.2 Beta

MASSIVE improvements, well done AMD devs !

Indeed, this is even without the memory management re-write which is coming later. These are simply CAP tweaks. However now we have to begin the wait, its gonna be at least a week probably longer.

Lol you have nothing and you know it. No witnesses, no blood, no bodies, no finger prints and most importantly no screen captures. Come at me, noob! :D

NOOB?!!
I have more post than you! You young whippersnapper!

On topic though.
So they're going to fix an issue that's a non-issue as such? I certainly haven't noticed anything.

:D Not by much!

On topic, yeah i have to admit ive not really noticed any stutter either, but i don't play Skyrim or Borderlands 2. Farcry 3? Sure there is a small amount of stutter in that, hopefully that gets fixed. Can't wait to try out the new memory management drivers, that sounds like its a few weeks off though.

It might only be perceptible to some people, a bit like tearing. Some people notice it and some don't. Having been in both GPU camps, I did notice that NVid seemed a little smoother in gameplay in some games.

Giev! I neeeed this I can clearly tell the difference on GW2 between my ATi PC and the wifes nVidia. Even though she's on older hardware the game feels smoother. It's most annoying! :D

Tell me about it. It's not just problem with this gen card...on Guild Wars 2 my 9800GTX+ on the same frame rate as my 5850 feel noticably smoother. 40-45fps on my 5850 feel like 30-35fps on my 9800GTX+ perception of smoothness wise...

I've been thinking about upgrading to 7950 for a long time and never made the move because of what I mentioned above...because of this I even been started to considering GTX670, but it would mean I would lose 3D, which I do not want. Certainly hope AMD can fix this issue that seem to have been around forever.

I have been saying this for months.

HD 7950 +1

This is exactly what people are skipping over. It happens to AMD in some games, nVidia in others.

When it's the choice between a 7950 and an overpriced low end card like the 660Ti then yes, you will see a lot of +1'ing as it is the right choice for somebody not locked to brand. I'm not entirely sure why you feel the need to come into an AMD 13.2 beta thread to start whinging again. Perhaps you are regretful that you wasted money on arguably an inferior product?

@HeX: I play GW2 and haven't noticed any lack of smoothness compared to the 680s not to say that your problem is PEBKAC but it is odd that it can manifest for some people and not others.
