AMD ships 2 million DirectX 11 GPUs

ATI are having a good round this time, NV are looking dazed and confused at the moment, let's hope they can sober up and get some decent cards out.

Where did they ship them too is the question :)

Also when they say 2mil does that mean 1.9mi 57xx's ,950k 5850's ,49.5k 5870's and 5k of 5970's because thats what it's felt like.

Well for a month they were only shipping 5850/5870's, they shipped something along the lines of 100k in the first couple weeks of both of them, the 5770/50 are actually fairly low sales comparitively because they don't outperform last gen, theres still stock of the last gen and the last gen has some amazing deals, they'll make more as the 48XX series runs out completely, but they still should have shipped a lot more 57XX than 58XX parts.

But I'd say a huge number of that 2 million is the last month and 53XX/56XX parts, maybe 500-700k, they'll be being built now, probably released any day and ample stock, though those are the kinds of cards Dell and co will order by the 100k's at a time.

But thats how cards are, 40-50% low end, 35-30% mid end, 10-15% high end(if lucky), and that 15% high end will be 65% 5850's, 30% 5870's and 5% 5970's, at best. Nvidia's breakdown will be the same.
