Any reason for speccing two Radeon 3870 XT? I would say a single card Radeon 3870 X2 would be a much better idea and a few quid cheaper too. Also a 1000 watt PSU for that system is way overkill - can't see it needing anything more than around 600 watts to be honest.

Cheers Phemo the rig he did was using a 1000w psu so i wanted to try and do the same spec as him but his spec was with 2 x 3850's as well. I was just seeing why he would have got a rig priced at £2100 when i can price up a similar one for £600 cheaper.
as per phemo, if you're going to spend that money on the gfx card then go for the 3870's x2's rather than 2 3870s's.
psu go for the corsair 620w.
sound card wise have a look at the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1 Sound Card.
sure i read somewhere that there were cache issues with the seagate, if there is have a look at the western digital aaks.
