Inspired by the similar thread that Physicsman did here for Nvidia, use this thread to discuss the technologies AMD will be talking about and showcasing at GDG. I will update the thread with any exciting info regarding Mantle, DX12 etc.

AMD Technology at GDC

Join AMD and AMD partners at the 2014 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco March 17-21 as they provide tips on how developers can improve CPU and GPU performance, discuss technologies to help developers enhance rendering, speed and performance, and talk about the advantages of the new Mantle API. GDC is the the world’s largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event. Don’t miss these presentations as part of an exciting five days of tutorials, bootcamps visitAMD_polyand roundtable discussions providing insight into the future of gaming.

Nice one Matt, it might be a good idea to ask someone at AMD about a Stream of Video of some kind.

What time in GMT for this and any streams etc?

I don't think there are any streams, i will ask around on twitter and let you know if i find any. I asked Johan and he said footage will be recorded though which i will add to the thread as and when it appears.

On it.

Good thread Matt.

Look forward to the news. What I want is more games announced for Mantle and True Audio. Crysis 4 come on AMD you can do it. :D

Need to get more TA titles in the works, at least 5 more titles would be progress.

Maybe some Mantle titles from the ground up, designed with Mantle from the start instead of bolted on, show us if there is more to come of Mantle.

Agreed. TA has great potential but it needs to start appearing in other games, or at least be announced in some up and coming games. Probably another good twitter question there.
