AMd tri core gaming vid

LOL that you tube was as huge laugh, Look into my eyes dont look around the eyes :O

Fanboy video of the year, hope nvidia drop an 8800gtx in an intergrated solution soon just to squash this little effort into dust :P

nVidia are dropping their next IGP to the market soon enough but it is not as good as the 780G offering by AMD.

They say Tri-Core is better than Quad Core because in most circumstances the 4th core is not doing anything or much. So you could have a very quick games machine for very little.

The point of the 780 chip and the intergrated grapics 3200 that comes with it is to increase market share in HTPC and in the work place. It is nothing to do with crysis and geeks with there games. The money is in IGP and getting in the office market.

I don't understand why there is quite a bit of negativity towards this platform, more powerful integrated graphics is a great thing. If it takes off then it'll only result in better IGP competition all round.

Integraded graphics have been needing a kick up the bum like this for ages.

It is about time people were able to play more than Minesweeper on their basic PC's in this day and age.

EXACTLY! :p

so many daft negative people in here. can you not see further than your own noses ? the implications of this technology for mobile devices and low end desktops is both broad and exciting.

but i guess some of you have never heard of credit where credits due.

p.s. does anyone know when tri core AMD chips are comming ? im getting tired of waiting to shift from 939...

Um dont nvidia have a mobile 8800gtx allready?

When i look for a good graphics i want looks and framerate, what fps was that water running @, that bloke might as well had an AMD hat and AMD T-Shirt on as well as an AMD coffee mug and a little AMD flag and an AMD tattoo in the middle of his forehead

Me thinks AMD are gunning for the OEM market, because if nvidia really wanted it they could have probably had it a looong time ago

And btw in no way am i a fanboy, i was running ATi all the way up till my 9700pro, then nvidia picked up the ball and have pretty much being running with it since.

Now the real question is how many AMD references are in this post :P

Stop and think about it, do you really think this is competing with the 8800m?
The answer is: no, no it isn't...

The 8800m is not integrated into the motherboard, it eats batteries for breakfast. It's a high end graphics card and it costs a packet. (which you have not taken into consideration at all and which is probably the most important factor)

This product is not aimed at you, it's aimed at entry level systems. You want high end graphics made for pure gaming, entry level PC's are not for that...

And of course AMD are gunning for the OEM market, AMD CPU, AMD chipset with AMD integrated graphics. I don't see what all in one solution Nvidia could come out with.

I'm pretty sure a mobile 8800GTX is far from cheap.

The point here is that the 'worst' graphics cards should be getting much closer to enthusiast cards, meaning more people can play games with decent visuals (purple shirters/supermarketers etc) because these chipsets should be just as cheap as GMA chips.

Imagine the future- your latest £180 Nvidia/ATI card is only 20% (speculation alert) faster than an integrated grpahics card...... what would they do to get your money?
