AMD + Trim - does it work??

Saw this on the AMD forums

It basically says that some drives + trim don't work with AMD mobo's - this came as a bit of a shock to me, I only found it as Im begining to plan my next build - anyone here having trouble with AMD mobo's, trim and SSD's???

TRIM works fine if you use the Microsoft AHCI driver (which generally works better than AMD's driver anyway). I've been using the MS driver with my Intel SSD for about a year now and it's fine. Performance is very good and no stability or data integrity problems at all.
