Yeah, says at the bottom.
I just put my 7950 Crossfire to 800MHZ (Quad pump it) on the memory, I can't see any performance drop, I know I'm GDDR5 at 384 bit, but a 7950 is multitudes faster than a 7750, so the performance drop might not be too much, that was Heaven 1920x1080 8x AA.

He may even be able to clock his memory to possible overcome any potential problem.

I guess we can only see when it comes.
 
Had a 680, changed to a 7970 DCII for 3D.
Managed to switch from a 7970 to a 7950 Crossfire and made 50 quid while doing it.
And I sold my 7970 DCII for 265 IIRC, so I got my 7950's cheap :p

Although, I'd rather have my single 7970 DCII back.
 
Those have must been bargain priced HD7950 cards!!

The HD7890 2GB or whatever it will be called,is being launched next week. It uses a cut down Tahiti core with 1536 shaders and a 256 bit memory controller. It will be interesting to see how close it will be to the non-boost HD7950 3GB.
 
I'm not sure how in-between the card can get (Given a stock 7870's closeness)

AMD don't half make some weird cards.
Likely the card will be oddly priced.
 
If it is priced in HD7870 territory,it could be quite good value. However,decent HD7950 cards can be had for around £230 to £240 and cheap ones for less,so it would need to be around £180 to £200.

OTH,the GTX660TI will not being a bad card,looks like it will be slightly boxed in.

End up so wrapped up, only to miss the 3.

Say,if the HD7750 GDDR5 is around 40% faster than the GDDR3 version,you are still looking at 9800GT/HD4830 level I expect for the GDDR3 version. So it is still reasonable,but it would be nice if the HD7770 deal had showed up earlier!! :(
