All I have noticed is you like to cavil at peoples posts and seem to enjoy moulding discussions to suit your arguments. Plenty of evidence in the General and CPU forums to back this up.

To say you are not biased is quite rich considering the volume of your posts recommend an i5 only sticking in the odd "then go AMD" to pretend that you are this neutral guru.

I am not posting to justify or 'advise' if I can help it any longer, I am just growing both amused and tired of the same retort from the same minority. This is the second thread today you are veering off topic and in this one you are calling someone a blatant lier (getting personal again) which is strange but something I am not having to decipher this time round.

To the OP good luck with your selection, if you want any blasphemous AMD advice then either ask or jib over to the official 83x0 thread.

On the original point, if the Phenom is performing ok, then obviously an 8320 overclocked is going to be a lot better, and it represents excellent value. Game developers recommend an 8320/50 over a current i5 for next gen games because of the way they work -- in these the Phenom will struggle too, and so a CPU upgrade is a good bet, and can fit in with an excellent graphics card for 1080p gaming at £450ish.
