AMD V INTEL Debate boring?

In my opnion the argument is pointless as many have said both have their up and down sides, Amd could be seen as cheaper, intel faster etc.
But its when you start comparing individual cpu's from each manufacture that you can say one is better than the other, NOT comparing the whole company.

Its like arguing over anything, people will always buy what they want not because its better or whatever in most cases.
If you've used AMD for years and are happy why change, same with intel. Its like nvidia and ati, its a neverending arguement.

For me two main things that are considered when i buy stuff what do i need it to do and how much do i have to spend couldn't give a monkeys who makes it if it's within what i can afford and does what i want.

OP, you think you have it bad here? Try the graphics card section :D The nV vs ATI nonsense is beyond boring, but it keeps going, and going, and ...

As long as there is still a choice, I do not care, it is good for competition and innovation.

One main supplier would be the true nightmare.
