AMD Working on At Least Three Radeon RX Vega SKUs, Slowest Faster than GTX 1070

"The fastest SKU is in the same league as the GTX 1080 Ti."

That may upset some people around here.... they would be desperate for that to be fake. :D

I'm going to take it with a pinch of salt myself.

If AMD put out a card faster and cheaper than a 1070 this quarter i shall have to cry.....

Money is ready, If their top end single GPU card can beat a 1080 Ti then I shall get 1.

Just make sure you get a 1200w PSU to go with it :p :D

Why? We've known for a while that Vega is being released during this quarter and everyone knows they won't be releasing something slower than the gtx 1070. Probably going to be around 1080 performance for the same price as the GTX 1070 (uneven performance across the board I presume).

If there are 3 coming , I expect the slowest 2 to be cheap and just leaving AMD/Vendor's/resellers a very small profit margin but with the purpose to get mass market share in the mid-high. That's what they need the most.
the flagship would be milking as much cash as can be and people will pay top dollar for it even if it did or didn't beat a Titan as they want the best for their Cheaper then G-sync 200hz monitors :)

IMO anyways , but I think 2 models would be enough

It will if it comes in under £400..... a 1080 is no slouch.
But it's getting on towards being 1 year old now, surely AMD will do better than that? NV could just drop the price of their 1080 - probably made enough money out of them by now. Personally I reckon and hope AMD get somewhere between the 1080 and Ti and for an appropriate price too, ie, slap bag in the middle of them

No it's not but Nvidia i preparing Volta which will be even quicker than 10 series. It looks like AMD is always behind.

They are always behind and they always will be. For us AMD guys that are invested in Freesync and been waiting since 290/390/480 type performance, this will still be a good leap. I don't need it to batter a 1080ti, I just need it to be a nice leap over what I've got, which even if it's 1080 speed then it will be. Will be perfect that for me on a 1440p freesync screen, if that price is around 400 so what if it's a year late, we AMD guys haven't had that option for years. Yes I know we had a Furyx but don't even get me started on that POS.
