AMD X2 6000+ or Intel .....

I just came across someone who said that this board: Asus M3N72-T Deluxe nForce 780a SLi (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard [90-MIB5V0-G0EAY00Z]
supports the old AM2 chips.
I looked at the motherboard home page and it says:
AMD® Phenom™ X4/ Phenom™ X3/ Athlon™ X2/ Athlon™/ Sempron™ processors (socket AM2+/AM2)

This motherboard supports AMD® Socket AM2+ multi-core processors. It features dual-channel DDR2 1066 memory support, data transfer rate up to 5200MT/s via HyperTransport™ 3.0 based system bus, and AMD® Cool ´n´ Quiet™ Technology.

Doesn't list any processors in the CPU support list so I'm not sure what to think.
It would be nice to be able to get the board now and then upgrade to the AMD X4 620 after a while, or something even more powerful.
