The issue is Microsofts default TDR setting.
Go to registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
If there is TdrDelay record, change value to 8
If there is not TdrDelay record, right click on a open space and create a new Dword and name it TdrDelay . Double click that and set a value of 8.
hes already tried that. :)

Well, i tested with the other stick and got a black screen/frooze and lost my screen signal. It did not even produce a minidump.
interesting. do you have any other ram you can try? or can you try loosening the sticks, lower the xmp profile to 1333 and retest on the better stick.
deffinetly try lowering core clock as vince suggested.

Ah, i already tried this method yet the problems still remained!

I don't have any other ram to try and tried default settings when i did the bios flash and problem still remained. It's just odd, you know?. It randomly goes and comes back at will. I won't have it for a full day of gaming and bam, back the next day..

no worries, im not convinced it is the ram just fyi. it was just a point of elimination, its definitely odd il give you that. ps did you try TDR at '0' (should disabled TDR) and '16'? also definitely try lowering the core clock on the card. also i didnt see any mention of temps whilst gaming, definitely check those.

Oh, i could have sworn.. i had said i checked the VRMs/GPU temps and both are in the high 60s low 70s when i get to actually game, same for the CPU, sits at 64c. I have not tried 16 yet nor disabling it. I'll give it a go! and thanks for the support so far!.

no worries mate, i may have missed it. let us know how you get on :)

Well, i reduce the core clocks by a 100mhz and the VRAM by a 100 and it's still the same >.<

I'll try the TDR to 16 and disabling of TDR now and new AMD drivers that just came out.

Next step flash the bios with a stock version of the same bios would be my next step.

Well, i have never tried bio flashing but if the fixes i am trying now don't fix.. always worth a shot!.

No rocket science involved. Does your card have dual bios? If it does it could be as simple as flicking a switch to put the card on the second bios. Otherwise just straight up flash it and be done with it. I had to reflash a card not long ago which seemed to fix it, granted it was a second hand card that the previous owner ruined.

Well, it appears setting the TDR to 16 seconds has somewhat fixed it. It's not exactly ideal having a stutter/audio issues during a game but it only happened once today.

I'll keep an eye on it and see how it goes. I can hopefully find a permanent solution to the problem, maybe a bio flash, who knows?. but yea, i'll report back in a few days and ermm, thanks for the support!.

glad to hear it at least helped somewhat.

It started just around when windows released their Windows October update. It was nothing at first.. just a minor driver glitch an so forth but eventually lead to this.

It's a pain, but could you try an earlier Windows build? 1803? Turn off updates, install drivers etc and see what happens. Use maybe June amd drivers?

I was thinking of attempting that but wasn't sure about how to go about it. I was one the Windows 7 users who got a free upgrade to Windows 10.

You can download the April iso from there.
Use windows own 'create recovery' to format a USB and then just copy the iso directly onto the newly created bootable USB (overwrite files when asked).
If you haven't already done it, create a Microsoft account and use it to log into windows. This ties the key to you and makes upgrading, reinstalling a lot simpler. Failing that, you can still enter the windows 7 key and it should validate against that.
