American Primeval | Netflix

Wasn't too taken with the first episode, but the second episode got good. Need to find a suitable time to watch the rest now.

Just finished it, I thought it was brilliant.

I knew that ending was going to happen though, you could just tell it was going to be that way.

The mum really annoyed me for a good bit of it but that just added to it.

If they did a sequel it would open with three headstones a mile down the road. Her and the two kids. That woman was forever doing dumb **** even when told not to.

The issue now is, Primeval has been somewhat of a success.. cue a hundred other "gritty", "violent" cowboy/western shows on the various streaming platforms to try and jump on the back on the popularity, most will have almost no story or any reasonable acting.. and it will just kill the genre again..

and of course they will push for a season two.. It's popular lets make more and destroy the memory of season one ;)

and that would be an excellent start - very much in keeping with the tone of series 1.

I was really surprised and would have to say it's one of the best wild west tv series I've seen for many years!

I was ignoring the show until I saw this thread a couple weeks back as I just assume it'll be trash. Sad that that's the current state of TV.

This was an excellent show. Great pacing, engaging story, and the casting was on-point. Too many shows spend a fortune on A-list celebs, thinking that's what people want to see.
