Americas Army 3 - free game - pre-load now on Steam

Id thought it was fixed, so went to finish off the ranges got all targets down with 100% accuracy but

I preloaded this about a week and went play it for the first time just now. After decypting the files it is now downloading again. Except that it started on like 52% is going up veeeeeeery slowly.

Is this normal?

Yes this is quite normal with AA3. :D
My advice is give up & come slate it on here it's much more fun than trying to get it to work properly. :p
AA3 stands for Agonisingly Atrocious.

I'd kick off his bedroom door & sling a nade or two in, Then I'd let loose with my engineers pump until he was unrecognisable but just before he drew his last breath I'd drop my trousers & tea bag the ****. AS he looked at me gagging on my testicles I'd say "Thanks for the BF2 Dude" :cool:

I know most of you probably haven't been allowed to advance to medic training, but anyone who has; wtf?

All you have to do is press space for 20 minutes and they managed to completely **** that up? I get to a stage where I have to shove an airway funnel in simons face or something, but when I press space no progress bar pops up, it's doing something because while I have space pressed I can't move around. Also, while holding space if I left click he dies, after a couple of tries just killing him it passed me, but I just got another similar task after that that I can't fluke.

So yeah, what the hell?
 
I have completed the medical training but it wont update to my profile giving this game a miss i think, my computer is going to have dents in it soon never have i had a game wind me up so much. Did they not load test the servers before releasing it what were the beta testers doing during there time in the game poncing about by the looks of it.
 
Can't even do any of the training, seems to crash either after I've just clicked enlist or straight after it loads. Any ideas?
 
Well here is my experience of AA3:

1) Graphics suck, horrid lack of AA.
2) My training progress doesn't save, lol.
3) Sounds is bugged - doesn't recognise more than 2 channels/speakers
4) Can't connect to a server, just get black screened then taken back to menu
5) Just **** poor generally.

I think they were going for the more casual gamer this time around in order to gain the attention of a mainstream group or something. The shooting range didn't even seem as realistic as my dusty memory of the first game in 2002. In that, you had to clear jams etc as part of it.
