I liked it in small doses, but i couldnt sit on it for longer than 45minutes without getting sick of it. Not enough guns and you cant snipe until youve done the training, and i hate the training.

Isnt a bit of training better to get an unlock instead of £15 for an expansion pack?
That rifle range has shown me how much my mice have improved over time. Had the M$ intellimouse optical, razorboomslang (which broke twice), mx510 and now the logitech g5 2000dpi mouse with on-the-fly sensitivity (only use it in BF2 sometimes for tanks).
If u have done the training to play online, then if your marksmanship score was 36/40 then u could have done sniper training. Sniper training in itself takes 2mins tops, if you are successful. If you have not got 36/40 on marksman range then you are not good enough to use the sniper in game.
Kind of like a pilot school for BF2, if you havent proven yourself then more than likely you will be a hinderance to the team; occupying an effective weapon once in the right hands. Its not all about sniper though, not all maps have them. Grenades and flash bangs are more effective in this game than others I have played. Know how to use a nade and lack of aiming skills wont matter
Its possible that its not to your taste, I dont like counterstrike.
TBH the marksmanship training is a lot easier now than it used to be, m16 is perhaps a little easier to use than of old, but the biggest difference is the new ironsights released in 2.5.
The only really difficult part of the training is the Special Forces escape and evade, which can be very painfull to get through.
like the guy said, in battlefield 2 u get really annoyed when uhave some noob flying a hele and then crash n kill whole team or whatever. In americas army, it stops idiots (sort of) using the sniper. i actually like this because it isnt just run in spamming.
