Amirite?

if its a compatability issue I would not refund the postage, I'd refund the item once I got it back at his expence...
This is the route I'd take as well and if he does give negative feedback just comment after it explaining how the idiot didn't realise his phone already had this built in.
This kind of one off negative feedback won't put people off buying from you. They will read your comment and think 'hmm fair enough, that guy is an idiot' and will then buy from you.
Don't worry about it and also I think you can report him for trying to extort you by threatening negative feedback. Ebay don't like when people use feedback threats.

Since you state your own refund/return policy its down to what you wrote for that listing.

tbh I can't believe you bothered selling something worth so little

I wouldn't even bother to sell such low value items like this on ebay. Its not worth the hassle.

Didn't know how much it was going to go for, I expected at least a tenner for it.

I sent him an email earlier about his phone being an N95 and it should have it built in, I also asked him what else I could do for him. He's replied and seemed a little more reasonable.

LOL dinner parties, how pathetically middle class.

That was what you noticed in that post?!

People are selfish. People are stupid. Put these people on ebay and they think it's their god given right as a customer that you lick their arse for them, and if you don't you're a scammer and criminal. Don't sell on ebay is the moral here. Low value items are too much fuss and hassle, high value items get so much creamed off by ebay that it's not even worth it. Such a joke. That, and most of the listings being tat from hong kong.

The worst of it was he actually posted I was an email scammer who relied on people not claiming a full refund to get away with it!

I gave up after that.
