It's not a good DAC. It's just not. It's a poorly implemented, poorly timed, shrill, ringing, cheap sounding DAC. It lacks depth. It lacks warmth, it lacks any semblance of "natural" sound. It's just bad. There are better options for the same amount of money.
All signs point to the multibit version being much better though. But I have never listened to it.
I was going to change my Musical fidelity v90 for Multibit but i think ill stay with the V90 to be fair it does me and quite like the sound of it and its decently built
I was looking at the Audio Guard stuff but its doesn't ship in the uk. There DAC AMP combo suppose to be good for the money and gets decent reviews on HeadFi
