Amp & Speaker Recommendations/Help

Hi, ive been thinking about this a fair bit lately and ive come up with the following HD DVD, TV, AMP & Speaker setup. i want some oppinions, if any improvements can be made within the budget, let me know and i'll check it out, i cant afford to spend any more than is stated here really. im at the top of my budget.

Budget for AMP & Speakers £500-£750

Pretty much settled on the TV, AMP and HD-DVD Player, need some help on the speakers though.

Not sure which will give me the best sound. i'll be using the system for HD DVD's, Music and TV.

Always up for suggestions/improvements

isnt the tv that you link to the same as this one on ocuk. Yes I know the x is missing but iirc the x is just the code for freeview.
