Hi all,

Downloaded this demo last night and thought it was great, and considering how cheap it is these days I think it's a definate buy :)

Question though.

I was expecting an SSX type game, where you have tense high speed races down the side of vertical mountains performing outragous tricks, and obviously its not :)

I quickly found myself driving the snowmobile up to the highest mountain I could find, getting in the rubber dingy and going for it! :D

So my question is, is there a main plot? a main goal? or is it just leisurely going down the side of mountains throwing snowballs at each other and not trying to crash? :D

also is it multiplayer over live?

Thanks

There is an overall story/plot to this game and it's pretty whacky in places :p

I'd have preferred an SSX style game but this was good fun nonetheless.

Its got a main story mode, and a number of mountains to unlock. As you compelte tasks on each mountain, the next mountain unlocks and each has a few storylines associated with it.

There are literally hundreds of tasks to do, you dont need to do them all to progress though.

Cutscenes are the weirdest Ive ever come across :p

I bought this a while back, was £12.99 new, how could you avoid it?

There is a main story, involving you being snubbed by your mates for a holiday and having to make up the cash. Some of the cut-scenes are great!
There is also the side bits to get more clothing/boards/sleds, for example, grind a certain pole and get a certain number of points to get the respect/money.
You can also leisurely cruise around the mountain, if you wish, it's all a good laugh.

Not sure about the Live multiplayer options. There are a couple of 2 player tasks on the mountain, mostly involving smashing each other up.

For the extreme low price I can't see why anyone would pass this game by, it's really good.

Nice one guys!

Just nabbed it for £10!!! :D

Can't wait, I did love the - smash yourself up bit on the demo, especially when it said "Press Y to project yourself into something hard" lol

Can't wait for it now! been ages since I've bought a 360 game

I think anyone getting a 360 now would be crazy to dive straight into the more expensive recent releases and to ignore the very cheap and great fun games that are 12 months old or so.

having only recently got my 360, i'm having great fun playing some of the earlier titles :)

Amped 3 is in my pile ready to have a good session on :D
