Theres already a thread regarding something about this in the Sound City section however id didnt really get a proper answer from there so i thought id ask in here..right my problem is i have a x fi xtremegamer and ive also got speakers and headphones and i want something that'll save me the hassle of reaching behind having to unplug on and plug the other one in...i know i can get a splitter but i dont want something like that...after a bit of search on google and a recommendation in the other thread i found this:

http://www.qed.co.uk/i174c194-191/Accessories/Audio_Switching/SS20_2-Way_Parallel_Speaker_Switch.htm

now i can probably connect that to my pc via a 3.5mm to phono cable but i havent got the slightest idea how i would connect my speakers and my headphones to it both of which use 3.5mm plugs..so if anyone has ideas please enlighten me..thanks :)

I cant imagine you could, As those are for hi-fi speakers not 3.5mm pc speakers + headphones. Unless you find a cable that would split the signal back into a 3.5mm jack.

well can anyone suggest a amplifier that can do what im looking for..i.e. something i can plug in to my pc and my headphone and speakers at the same time
