new to home audio equipment but looking for a 100w rms or more amplifier o drive a sub hooked up to a media centre pc.
best i managed to do was hook up a car amplifier using a pc power supply to provide dc power to the amp but thats just inefficient and can;t get enough current out the psu to make the car amp generate more than 40w of power being a class AB amp and having only 60% at best efficiency.
any one know of any cheapo home use amps that can provide around 100w of power into a 4ohm load?
