Hi,

I'm looking for a cheapish headphone amp that will work with k702's, I already have a creative E1 but in all honesty it just doesn't cut it when hooked up to my phone even although it seems ok on my PC using USB.
Something around £30-40 would do, less if possible and a little more if it makes a massive difference. I'm not fussed about using it on PC the main thing is to get something better for my phone.

Topping NX1 or a second hand FiiO E07K or E11.

They'd all be fine. FiiO would be my preference, personally - but then second hand can sometimes be a gamble, depends on what you're comfortable with.

Can get an E11k for £46 new I think, is it worth the difference from a £25ish topping?

I would say so, though some might disagree (NX1 has a fair bit of support on these forums). NX1 has EMI issues, sound isn't as good and build quality is lacking compared to the E11K. Kilimanjaro also have better battery life and more stable more powerful outputs
