Amsterdam Stag Do Accomodation

I organised a stag do recently for 20 people and we stayed in the NH Schiller. It's a 4 star (3.5 star really) and is in Rembrantplein which is a big square surrounded by bars and is only a 10 minute walk from everything including the red light district.

Cost was reasonable and it was a really handy base. Wasn't that keen on Amsterdam overall though, wouldn't rush back.

Having read through the T&C's of the Bulldog and even the Hans Brinker they state they don't accelt stags and they will cancel your booking when you arrive if they find out with no refund! :/
Could say its a birthday

Yeah a good cover story, but the stag I was on the Stag was wearing a stupid costume every day etc etc and they never said a thing on arrival or during the stay, I guess it just puts the worst off from going there but I think you'll find every hostel/hotel will say it but you can always book, smaller dorms etc etc to get around it........and if you read the TA reviews I doubt you'll see anyone saying they were turned away.

I was there two weeks ago at the Amsterdam ID Apartments, it's the perfect base for going out and is one stop away from Amsterdam Central station (about 10 minutes on the train).

The place was fantastic, all modern and spotlessly clean inside, and had some nice touches like Smart TV's on the wall. We had a couple of 2 bedroom apartments there, but everyone (14 blokes) would all hang out in one of the apartments during the evenings to drink and chill out so there was a fair amount of noise - the staff there didn't complain or tell us to shut up. There's also a restaurant downstairs that did some rather epic burgers if you wanted to eat. Would wholeheartedly recommend it.

It was far enough out of central Amsterdam that you don't get all the riff-raff, but close enough that you could walk to the station (5 min walk), and then jump on a train into Amsterdam Central (1 stop down the line, 10 mins on the train).

Looking at our costs, we paid £835 for 3x 2 bed apartments (sleep 4) for a 2night stay.

We're not interested in smoking at all and will actually actively avoid it as we all have jobs in the UK with regular drug testing so alcohol is our main target.
Can they even do anything if you smoked where it was perfectly legal?

why if you didn't break the law? makes no sense

It's nothing to do with the law, your contract will state you must not be under the influence of any of the tested substances and a pee test will not tell them where you used the drugs anyway.
