Actually, pop in to old man sam's if you can find it. Just for the sheer "wow" factor at just what they let you buy in that place.. Fully functional M16 anyone?

If they do hassle you, I find taking the **** in a light hearted way gets rid of most of them.

Indeed. The food they serve on the top floor is lovely. I remember it being quite expensive though.

The best place we found when we went in June. The whole place is just a mass of ridiculously comfortable cushions beanbag-type chairs, they also have waterpipes and even tho they don't sell "you know what" you're allowed to smoke it there.

Abraxas is also excellent... really nice atmosphere in there. I asked for a milkshake, and the girl replied, "Normal or...?" so naturally I asked what the "or" bit meant, and she wanted to know if I would like hash in my milkshake! :O
 
Grasshoper, if you find a local small magazine. Found ares in the hostel. They do a pub crawl mon-sat. Thats well worth going on.


Also take shed loads of money, it's silly prices over there.
