Amusing random ebay ad

He's saying you pay the finance company to clear it and pay him tha balance.

So say he has 10k outstanding and you buy it for 20, you pay him 10 and the finance company 10... It's not that complicated

Outstanding finance is only a problem if you don't know about it - I've bought a car in exactly this way before.

Someone who claims to be this rich (£9 million turnover) doesn't require finance and if it is he can clear it before the sale to make it nice and easy...which he can't :D

My question is that why wouldn't he class this as a company car. That way there wouldn't be any finance on it. (Unless, of course, his company is a massive scam *cough*)

Lol, someone can't pay the bills.

It does look like the car itself has been reasonably well looked-after though.

I was going to place a bid on this... but I found this one weird trick to get a free BMW!

It's great, I can be my own boss and basically work from home and choose my own hours. I'm set to be raking in about 2k+ / week!

I got an invite to an awards event the other day too; wll be great to meet others like me and hopefully the carpark will be full of BMWs!

Wow, this thread is full of people being confused by the simplest things

Gosh, I wonder how a 6 year old car could rack up 77k miles. He's the third owner of it!!

We dont know how long he's had it - assume he's had it 2 years and the previous 2 owners had it 2 years each. If they did 18k miles a year in it, it would have 72k on it when he bought it. That would mean he's done 7k in it in 2 years, pretty consistent with sitting in the driveway most days.

I wouldn't buy that car for a number of reasons, but the outstanding finance and mileage arent them - they dont take a genius to work out!

It has HUGE spec including £7k worth of optional extras from new. This car cost £50, 395 NEW i have all the original receipts provided to me when i purchased it.

I think you could be forgiven for thinking that his quote from the ad makes it sound like he has owned it from new. FWIW at first I read it like that but on second glance he's clearly bought it second hand himself.

Ok, so maybe he could have worded the advert differently but what's the deal with the OMG! It's got outstanding finance?

He's a Kleeneezy (or whatever it's called) rep, good luck to him!
Whilst it's not for me, I know of another very successful rep from the same ilk, lives just outside Eccleshall near Stafford, he's got a very large garage / barn with every model of M5 from e28 through to an F10 along with an AMG S Class for his daily drive, his mrs drives an X5, the X5 and F10 are both on finance, the others owned outright, I'm guessing it's better fiscally to have the two cars on finance for him and why not? I know of plenty of people who have the capital to buy a car outright but choose not to.

He's clearly got the money to have looked after it, tbh, I can imagine worse sellers to buy from.

It has a private plate on H19 TDY this will be taken off and is not included in the sale or you can retain it for an extra £1000 the idea behind the plate is HIS TOY looks great. just let me know if you require it or not.

Haha, what a tool.

The idiocy of some private plates, I particularly like the ones that have whatever the plates supposed to say printed underneath the numbers / letters incase you can't decipher it! - makes me smile whenever I see that.

Each to his own, although his example of H19 TDY meaning "His Toy" is a classic example of how deluded some people with these plates are.

And that he thinks it's somehow worth £1000! £100 maybe, to a total muppet.

There used to be an M3 around here years back with the plate THE10Y and they'd put a small crossbar on the top of the '1' to make it look like a 'T'. Naughty but at least that was effective and did look like what they intended.
