After realising the Ergotron LX won't be suitable (my screen is too heavy by around 0.4KG) I decided to look around for alternatives and this one I found fts the requirements for price (£81) and features.

Hows the height adjustment work ?
From the image its got 2 pivots and the only way i can see to move it up and down would be to move the screen closer to and farther away.
Image is a dodgey though.

Kinda like the ones we have at work. Mick is correct, the only way to move the screen up and down ends up moving it either closer or further away.

So basically back to square one! I might chance it and get an Ergotron LX and see if the 9.4KG~ is not too heavy for it, I am hoping Ergotron placed a margin of error in the weight spec and 9.1 is not the absolute max weight but an average recommended weight!

Any chance you could weigh the stand mate? When I got a call from Hazro yesterday they said it was around 9.4 without the stand but did not have the exact figure and I don't have anything to weigh with!

The bracket came today btw!

Sorry, would love to, but it was such a bugger to get back on again, took me around 4 hours and even then it's not completely flush. Waiting for the replacement before I get a stand and mount the thing.

any mount with two pivots will have that trouble. you'd need a mount with 3 pivots to be able to adjust height without altering distance, unless the 2nd pivot nearest the monitor is able to slide up and down the support arm

Hmm yep never occurred to me at the time!

I see, what mount are you using on yours or have you not decided?

Was looking at the ergotron one that swivels, but haven't really done much research as Hazro were talking about a custom one and I was waiting to see how that panned out first.
