Just checked the mobo spec GA-B75M-D3H and it supports Ivybridge according to the gigabyte web site, so ase the i5-3450 is on a "this week only" offer so changed that to the next target

Ok we reached the target for a Intel Core i5-3450 3.10GHz, could be thats where we get to, could be we can reach the next target a 3550 
but no matter if we don't, you should all be proud of yourselves, once again this team is just awash with awesomeness 
Gonna check with them if it be better to get a Sandybridge, depends what bios version and the RAM they have so if SB then we are in Intel Core i5-2300 2.80GHz (Sandybridge) territory now

The B75 chipset came out at the same time as Ivy Bridge so the BIOS version shouldn't matter. I've got a B75 board here and the base BIOS is Ivy Bridge-compatible. Yes but according to the CPU compatability sheet here it only supports Ivy at Bios 4.0 and the only review I could find that shows what the bios was at shipping shows Bios 2.0
Unless I can find out the current shipping bios I'm not going to mess around
Going to talk to 5UB now and get it ordered.

I've just picked up the email from Biffa informing me of this amazing effort .
Literally stunned , I don't think text on here can justify just how special this is. I've told connor the news and his face just lit up. Such a massive weight lifted, i know it'll sound daft but I've been worried the second I wake up everyday lately. The last thing on my mind at night.
