An example of morons not looking/using their indicators

It wasn't really. Straight road, he could see well ahead of him... although yeah, I agree that he shouldn't have done it near a junction.

Thats was his mistake, he should have waited until after the junction.

yeah it was crazy to overtake near a junction when the car was braking, but he should have indicated, having riden bikes myself you do have to treat every car as a moron and dont take stupid risks like that

It was entirely the bikers fault, he/she shouldn't have been overtaking at a junction. That's just asking for trouble. I suppose the car driver didn't help if he/she didn't indicate.

Overtaking on a junction is one of those things you just don't do, moreso on a bike.

actually the biker was completely at fault...

It was a left hand curve/bend with a right turn... the car did not need to indicate he was following the bend...

Look at the road signs... left hand bend ahead and the road markings bending to follow the road left...

Now you can all stop blaming the car driver and see it was just a numpty biker... they do exist on bikes as well as cars you know..

:D

Gah someone spotted it while I was reviwing the footage and typing

:D

yer, if you look about half way through the vid, just as the first rider pulls out to overtake you can clearly see a sign showing the road turns sharply to the left ahead, the bikers were totally in the wrong

ZZzzzzz, eh? what was that? people not taking ages to post, bah! ZZzzz

Double lines in the centre of the road too...

Its america, aren't they all like that? IIRC, it doesn't mean the same thing it does here.

There is a sign warning of a left bend up ahead..

It would have been the bikers fault even if the road had have been a straight unless the traffic laws in the US are different from over here. I know because I was prosecuted for that exact manouvre even though I didn't do it (very long story).

No, I think I'm the one who got pwned! :D

Sorry guys!

Why? You were right they didnt indicate, they should have and maybe the accident may not have happened, still doesnt change the fact however it was the bikers fault. :)

The road followed round to the left, he didn't turn off the road to go left if that makes sense.
