Have been out fo the loop fro so long now, that I have no idea where to start on this one.
Am currently running an i7-4790k with 32GB of RAM and have a GTX 1070 for my GFX
Have had this for a fair few years now and wil be looking to upgrade this lot.
GFX wise have been seeing how crazy the market is at the moment, so will stick with that card until there becomes more stock and I dont have to remove major organs to get one.
CPU wise, am thinking of heading towards AMD thjis time round, particularly the 5900X CPU. WHat would be a good mobo and memory combo to go with that? Memory dont watnt o go below 32GB as I am an astroimager and use Pixinsight to do my processing on and have a RAM drive setup for swap file on there.
Main uses, other than gaming, are image processing, 3D printing / slicing and am looking to start on the CAD front soon. Games wise, am a big sim freak, so main installs are DCS World, MS FS, Star Citizen, Elite (can anyone see a theme here.......)
Budget is as close to £800 as I can get, but can probably stretch a wee bnit over if needed.
Cheers in advance
