I chose to have an NT and SG over the original consoles as I didn't want the hassle with ancient yellowing/failing hardware. This is in contradiction to my usual approach (I have original PC Engine and N64 consoles alongside my Analogue versions) but it hasn't shown up any issues in the years I've had them.
I don't feel the new versions of the NT or SG really offer much over the OG versions, certainly nothing that makes me want to upgrade.
