hi,

not sure if any one has suse 9.1, well i do at uni is has some sort of disk management tool that wwhen u run out of disk space it shows all the files on your pc and how much space they are using. ok to my question is there any way of viewing the directories in this sort of strucutre in vista business 64bit thanks, and how do i access this program (if you knnow what i am on about) in fedora 8.

thanks

I use Space Monger 1.4 http://www.sixty-five.cc/sm/v1x.php in Windows XP 32-bit, it should run under vista 64-bit if you're lucky. It's a very useful program and lets you visualise your drive space. There is a newer version of it but all you need is 1.4 as it's the last free version.

jdiskreport is very good, better than sequoia view (i used that until i found jdisk)

needs java to run, but that's no biggie

While jdiskreport is indeed good i prefer the sequoai way of displaying files. I like how i can see what files are taking up space on the top level rather than having to drill down into various sub folders.
