yup was a good laugh. class limits are a must altho our 5 snipers done a leet job on the payload map
Haha yeah, those guys were genius.
Few things that I think I have mentioned to link:
- Receiving bits of lag when we almost had a full server at the start. 24 Man ***.
- Warmup timer at the start, only 30secs but helps the slowbie's arrive.
- Longer maps/round limits as Hippo/Euology said. We played goldrush as red and then didn't get to play as blue team. We played badlands for 2 consecutive wins and it changed again (10mins max?)
- Class limits to 3 per class per team on 24man.
- Remove all talk and let admins enable through a vote. Too much talking is crap and it's nice to have a little team co-ordination. (Some servers do like a Friday night "all talk night" for example).
I would say they are the neccessary things to make it overall a lot better with least effort.
Some other nice things over time could be:
- Map vote option in last 5-10 minutes (might have seen it once but it seemed that other admins were changing the map rather than letting the vote pass).
- Oppertunity to RTV (Rock the vote) for when ****e admins put it on abysmal maps like HYDRO.
- Have a map vote/ranking system so people can select when they are playing and then the server offers the higher ranked ones more on map votes (This is active on HH servers).
Can't think of anything other than that, but it was some good games tonight. Enjoyed it immensly even though my mic doesn't work in game (annoyingly) at the moment. Going to try and fix it!
