Well, I couldn't be without a car for too long. Ever since I was a little kid I've lusted after one of these, and I just saw this on ebay...

Now I bet you weren't expecting that. :p However I've convinced myself it makes quite a bit of financial sense. Its tax exempt and It should be peanuts to insure.

I'm using the bike to commute, so this should be just for fun..

I'll be picking it up next weekend.

what's going on with the whole engine/scaffold thing?

That chrome rail is there to try and stop someone ramming into the exhaust and engine ?

The exhaust setup does look abit DIY though :( needs more slow bends IMO

No - that's a normal Baja exhaust.

What's it running? 1600?

Get a Type 4 'box in there and a Legacy/Impreza lump. Talk to TSR about their conversion kits.

I'm sorry but that's frigging brilliant.

I'd be worried abotu leaving it anywhere though incase people pulled wires off :(

Yer, its a a 1.6 tp with a single 34 pic carb (whatever the hell that is). Its got a years MOT.

I think there's quite a few things to uprate before I go sticking anything remotely powerful in the back. :p

Luckily I live in a really nice area where its unlikely to have anything like that happen.

No chav's round here. Just silver foxes.

While parked, wouldn't you get rainwater accumulating in the exhaust system?

Or am I missing something in my n00bishness?

Nice, I like. I've always lusted over such a vehicle too.

Also, there are some tell tale signs of your location, might wanna PS the bin.
