And so the first one bites the dust

RS Ford gets wrecked by a driver that ran out of talent.

Not for nothing do the RS examples of the range get rare as time goes on.

Breakers yards will be filling almost as fast as the showrooms! :D

It cracks me up to post this right after that.

This RS was apparently hit when stationary.

By a lorry driver.

:p

As I say, it is apparently. Says so on detailing world, weather its true or not remains to be seen. But yes, LMAO too if its true.

I didn't see "set", but that also assumes they all deployed which worryingly doesn't always happen.

which airbags are fired are controlled by the occupancy sensors and SRS ECU, a airbag is only fired if the ECU deems it necessary.

As far as insurance companies and manufacurers are concerned the firing of the airbag requires a new complete set and sensors to rectify. A pair of seatbelt pretensiones alone are probably £300.

The side on shell isnt too bad on that (no roof damage), but i bet the rear subframe has ripped its mounting points good n proper, I wouldnt touch it, as parts will only be available new, which means muchos wonga.

I find it hard to believe that alorry hit it, and it lost the rear wheel etc..
I reckon with that kind damage it has to have been crashed...but hey I'm no crash/damage expert!
