Android 2.2 Froyo FRF85 for Nexus One officially released

Got the new FRF91 OTA update, tried to install, failzorz... I guess it didn't like my ROM or Recovery

been reading online and they havent really got a set date we will get it

Can anyone supply another link to the manual update? All the ones I can find have been pulled.

, I think I read on engadget that it bricks your phone if you use custom recovery images

I'm still at stock 2.1 Android. Build ERE27. Will that link work for me? Do I need instructions?!

Sorry, for that I think you'll need FRF85. I don't have a link to the manual update file.

But to manually update, there are loads of tutorials on how to do it if you search on google but here's one...

Thanks. All the links I could find to FRF85 were dead. I'll keep searching

I used the first FRF build, but switched back to CM 5.0.8 (It had 720p video amongst other niceties) and have now moved to CM6.0.0 alpha (built from the Froyo Source, which was released alongside FRF85), and apart some horrendous battery life (2 hours of Google Nav used 80% of my battery :eek:

) its been pretty good, CM seems to be expanding nicely too, Desire, Incredible, MT3G Slide and Evo versions all in the pipeline, and penny to a pound they're here before HTC officially updates those phones
