quick q: i've got a BB curve and the facebook app syncs pictures from facebook to your phone book contacts. Is there anything on the sony X10 that does the same?
 
for some reason facebook seems to think it has to fight against google so we get reduced functionality in their app, its only recently they added contact sync and inbox to the market version.

Syncing photos with contacts has nothing to do with the facebook app on android :p

You can do it anyway withought the app in the main contacts menu, you can also see all your facebook contacts/numbers if they have added it to there facebook profile, also sync with that persons flicker account if they have one :)
 
Just link each contact when you add them, there is an option to do it.

And it will auto update there pic and give you there status updates etc. on there contact page :)
 
Works flawlessly on my Desire.

Just add the contact, if it seems similar to a FB contact it will recommend them, if not find it yourself and link them.

It's also probably one of my fav things about android is the social networking syncing
 
The FB sync on contacts is a HTC feature from what I gather but can be replicated with the app SyncMyPix, which was not on the marketplace last time I looked.

Bloo is a much better FB app than the official one on Android as well, although due to FB restrictions does not contain inbox support.
 
I don't think the x10 supports that out the box like HTC devices do. My gf got the x10 and I had to look it up on Google... think I got an facebook contacts sync program and that helped :)
